Oops a Daisy by Flora + Foal / Galilee

Flora + Foal has had the pleasure of teaming up with local artist Galilee, to bring you our new art installation range Oops a Daisy.

Blurring the line between homeware and art installation, the idea behind this range came from loveable little accidents at traditional dinner parties. When a little accident becomes a moment to laugh about with friends and family for years to come. The range is eye catching yet versatile enough to sit well anywhere in the home, as a table center piece or amongst other items on display.

Based near Ruakaka, Galilee has been playing with clay for a number of years, first in the USA and later while living in Raglan where she fell in love with the versatility and freedom of throwing clay. Using primarily high quality, New Zealand stoneware clays, she enjoys creating forms and flow where the clay feels at home in her hands. Fired to high temperatures, her pieces are designed to last and be enjoyed for years. Galilee constantly finds new inspiration from nature, and when not pottering, will be found in the garden getting her hands in more mud, or at the nearest beach catching Kai or waves.
